On the way to the game. |
7/13/13 - The game that began the Mariners' 8 game winning streak. I'll take the honor of being their good luck charm. It was Dustin Ackley gnome give away night, and the Mariners were playing the Angels - current home vs. future home.
I've only been to three baseball fields - LA, Anaheim, and Seattle. So far, Seattle's is my favorite.
Fun Fact: This season was the first time the stadium had post-game fireworks! While I didn't get to witness the show, I was just as excited to learn that Seattle started this trend.
Ladies and gents, I present to you, SAFECOOOOOOOOO FIELD!!!!!
Safeco Field, located in downtown, South of the city skyline. |
Inside Safeco, with gnomes safely in our hand! |
View from our seats. |
Taking it all in. The arches straight ahead belong to Centurylink Stadium, home of the Seahawks. And you can catch a glimpse of downtown skyscrapers! |
Thanks for being so welcoming! |
Lucky me - a great sunny and warm Seattle day! |
I thought I could get lucky and catch a pre-game ball. Unfortunately, no such luck existed for me. |
Had to catch the "A"! |
Game in session. |
Yet another Panorama attempt. I should just give up. |
Sunset over Seattle. |
I just think these are awesome photos! |
Paying really close attention. |
Night view of the sign. |
Mariners are up! They won, 6-0. |
We Won! |
